About the Doctors

Rose F. Hayet, M.D. FACOG has been the solo-practitioner of Ocean Park OB GYN Associates for over 25 years. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Johns Hopkins University (Phi Beta Kappa) in 1976 and went on to complete  her Medical Degree at UMDNJ (formerly CNDNJ New Jersey Medical School) by 1980. Her residency was performed at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ where she remains currently as an attending physician. Post- residency Doctor Hayet worked with a group practice briefly before beginning a thriving practice of her own in 1986. Her honors include the Samuel S. Adler Award and Robert A. Mackenzie Award. She is  an active Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Although she averages nearly 50 deliveries each year, she maintains a small intimate staff, some of which have been with her for nearly a decade or two. On a more personal note, Rose is married to Bill Hayet, MD (doctor of internal medicine and geriatric medicine) and they have a son. She is involved with the community and known to donate to the emergency rescue organizations and local police department. She volunteers regularly at the Monmouth County ASPCA where she enjoys socializing cats. She also loves to attend the NJ Devil's hockey games.

Debra L. Cohn, D.O.  joined Meridian Obstetrics and Gynecology in July. She received her medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Cohn completed her OB/GYN residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Before joining Ocen Park OB-GYN, she provided services for JSUMC Labor and Delivery and the JSUMC Family Health Center. She enjoys staying in shape by taking Kick-boxing classes and jogging on the boardwalk. Dr. Cohn is very family oriented and a welcome addition to the Ocean Park OB-GYN family.
